Demo Public School uses this website and its mobile app to share school information with parents and staff. This page explains what information is handled and why. Please review it with the school management before publishing the app.

Information we handle

Parent, student and staff details held in the school records: names, contact numbers, email addresses, class and attendance, fees and exam results.
Details you send through the admission enquiry form: your name, phone number, email and message.
For school bus drivers only: the location of the bus while a trip is running, including when the app is in the background, so that parents can see where the bus is. Location is not recorded outside a trip.

How it is used

Information is used only to run the school: to keep parents informed, record attendance and fees, answer enquiries and show the live position of the school bus. It is not sold and is not shared with advertisers.

Storage and security

Records are stored on secured servers operated for the school by its software provider, Chalkbell, and are sent over encrypted connections.

Your choices

Parents and staff can ask the school office to correct or delete their information, subject to the records the school is required to keep. Contact details are on the Contact page.
